Terms & Conditions
By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed only once a signed agreement and required deposit have been received. Dates are secured on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to the event date.
Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer. Failure to complete payment may result in services not being provided.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation as they secure your event date and cover time spent on planning, design, and preparation.
Booking Cancelled within 30 days of the event date will be charged 100% of the total booking cost.
Bookings cancelled before 30 days of the event date will be charged 50% of the total booking cost.
Any costs already incurred (including materials, props, custom items, or third-party services) remain payable, regardless of the cancellation date.
Cancellations must be provided in writing to be considered valid.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise and will always aim to handle cancellations with care and understanding, while protecting the time and resources committed to your event.
Postponements
If your event is postponed, we will do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability. Additional costs may apply.
Changes to Booking
Any changes to the event details (date, location, scope, styling items, timings) must be submitted in writing by the client. Fleur De Silk Events will provide an estimate of any additional fees before making any changes.Significant changes may result in revised pricing.
Services Provided
Services include event styling, design, setup, and/or pack-down as specified in your proposal.
Any services not explicitly listed are not included unless agreed to in writing.
We reserve the right to make reasonable design substitutions due to availability, weather, venue restrictions, or supplier issues, while maintaining the agreed overall aesthetic.
Design & Styling
All styling concepts are created based on the information provided by the client. While every effort is made to deliver the agreed vision, slight variations may occur due to availability of materials, florals, props, or venue restrictions.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate event details, venue access times, and approvals required by the venue. Delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information may affect the final setup.
Venue & Access
The client is responsible for ensuring venue access for setup and pack-down at agreed times. Any additional time required due to restricted access may incur extra charges.
We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or venue limitations.
Props & Hire Items
All hired items remain our property and must be returned in their original condition. The client is responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage, which may be charged accordingly.
Photography & Marketing
We reserve the right to photograph styled events and use images for portfolio, website, and social media purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.
Liability
While every care is taken, we are not responsible for damage caused by guests, venue staff, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
Weather & Force Majeure
We are not liable for issues caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, supplier failures or unforeseen emergencies.
Outdoor events proceed at the client’s risk.
Acceptance
By paying a deposit or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
